TCS Best Buy Deal will transition Best Buy’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) under a multi-year agreement. The partnership will combine Best Buy’s retail and enterprise expertise with TCS’s technology, engineering and artificial intelligence capabilities. The India centre will gradually transform into an AI-native Capability Centre, with teams working on AI-powered experiences, solutions and redesigned workflows. TCS said Best Buy India employees will move into its global organisation, preserving their business and technology knowledge while giving them access to TCS’s learning, innovation and AI ecosystem. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Best Buy said the partnership is intended to maintain business continuity and build on the strengths of its India team. The deal also highlights the growing role of Indian GCCs in technology, engineering and AI-led business operations.
