CA and CS Jobs 2026 are showing strong hiring demand even as fewer candidates are registering for CA Final examinations. According to Aon’s Campus Study Report 2026-27, 56% of organisations plan to increase hiring of Chartered Accountants and Company Secretaries, while 33% expect hiring to remain unchanged. Only 11% plan to reduce recruitment in this category. The report, based on more than 220 organisations, also found that 91% hire CA-CS interns and 82% extend pre-placement interviews or offers to them. Meanwhile, ICAI data cited by CA Final registrations fell from 132,007 in May 2017 to 99,466 in May 2025 and 81,852 in September 2025. The findings indicate strong recruitment interest alongside a decline in the number of CA exam applicants.
