Zoho Catalyst for Students: Free Cloud Platform Opens New Opportunities

Asian Games 2026 India medal tally and October 2 schedule

Zoho Catalyst for Students is being expanded as a free platform to help students to develop and deploy applications without the burden of infrastructure costs. Zoho co-founder Sridhar Vembu said the company built its own cloud infrastructure rather than depending on major providers such as AWS or Google Cloud. The internally developed infrastructure includes databases, identity management, messaging, search, storage and computing. Zoho has opened these capabilities to developers through Catalyst, its serverless platform. The company is now investing further in Catalyst and making it available to students for educational and non-commercial use. The initiative is designed to help students to turn project ideas into working applications while gaining practical experience with cloud technology. Zoho announced the free student programme alongside Catalyst 3.0, which includes tools designed for modern AI-assisted application development.
