NEET UG Paper Leak concerns have intensified the focus on reforms to the National Testing Agency (NTA), with the Nandan Nilekani-led panel consulting former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan. The consultation is part of the panel’s review of measures aimed at strengthening examination security and improving the functioning of NTA. The development follows the 2026 NEET-UG paper leak controversy. The May 3 examination was cancelled after the leak, with a re-examination held on June 21. A CBI investigation later detailed how questions were extracted during the confidential preparation process and circulated before the examination. The Nilekani panel is examining structural changes to NTA, while earlier recommendations from the Radhakrishnan committee remain part of the reform process. The Centre has indicated that an interim report from the Nilekani panel is expected by the end of September.
