ISRO NVS-03 Launch: NavIC Satellite Set for October Mission

ISRO NVS-03 NavIC navigation satellite launch on GSLV Mk II

ISRO NVS-03 Launch is being targeted for October 15–20, 2026, as the Indian Space Research Organisation prepares its next major navigation mission. The NVS-03 satellite will be carried aboard a GSLV-Mk II rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The mission is part of India’s second-generation NavIC navigation satellite programme. NVS-03 is among the satellites planned to replace or strengthen the existing NavIC constellation, which supports navigation services for civilian and strategic applications. Reports indicate that stacking of the rocket’s first stage has been completed and the launch campaign began on September 14. NVS-03 is already at the spaceport, allowing preparations to continue toward the targeted launch window. ISRO is also preparing for other missions as part of an active launch schedule. The NVS-03 mission will be closely watched as India expands and strengthens its indigenous satellite-navigation capabilities.
