Agentic AI Campus technology is being integrated into higher education through a new partnership between KL Deemed to be University and HCL GUVI AI Labs. The partnership was formalised through an MoU at the university’s Vaddeswaram campus, Andhra Pradesh on September 21, 2026. The initiative is described by the partners as an AI-integrated campus model designed to help students understand, develop and deploy next-generation artificial intelligence and agentic AI systems. The programme is intended to extend across disciplines rather than being limited to computer science students. It combines academic learning with practical technology exposure and industry interaction. The development reflects a broader shift in universities from teaching AI as a standalone technical subject towards embedding AI tools and applications into multiple academic programmes. For students, this could increase the importance of AI literacy alongside their core subject knowledge as universities redesign curricula around emerging technologies.
