SGB Agro Industries is a Chikkamagaluru-based startup developing affordable agricultural machines designed for Indian farmers. Founded in 2020 by Gowrav Bhargav K R, Aravind Krishnamurthy and Bhavani S Mayya, the company focuses on technology that supports everyday farm work. The founders began with simple machines after observing that many farmers needed affordable equipment rather than expensive, complex technology. Its product range includes electric wheelbarrows, agricultural robots with multiple attachments, smart sprayers, loaders and other farm machines.The startup has expanded from its products to serve farmers across regions. It was selected under Karnataka’s Elevate 100 programme and received recognition in the startup ecosystem. The company also raised funding to expand manufacturing and distribution. With a team of 40 and FY26 revenue of ₹1.85 crore, SGB Agro Industries aims to increase production, create rural jobs and make agricultural technology more accessible.
