CBSE Nasha Mukt Yuva Talkathon was organised on September 20 under the theme “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat” to raise awareness about substance abuse among school students. The 45-minute interactive session brought together experts, educators and students to discuss prevention, peer pressure and responsible choices. Representatives from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), AIIMS New Delhi and CBSE schools participated in the programme. Students were encouraged to submit questions and messages covering substance-use prevention, handling peer pressure, early intervention and ways to seek help. The discussion also addressed mental health, de-addiction and available support systems. CBSE invited students to participate through social media using the hashtags #CBSETalkathon and #NashaMuktYuva, while posters and short videos could also be submitted for the campaign. The initiative aims to help students understand substance-related risks and make informed, healthy and responsible decisions.
