Samsung Innovation Campus Karnataka AI training for young students

Samsung Innovation Campus Karnataka will train 2,000 young people in industry-relevant AI skills through a new partnership with Nrupathunga University, Bengaluru. Samsung India announced the 2026 programme on September 17 as part of its wider plan to train 20,000 youth across 10 states. Participants aged 18 to 25 will receive hands-on education in artificial intelligence and generative AI, alongside practical learning, mentoring and career-readiness support. The initiative is being implemented in partnership with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India and the Telecom Sector Skill Council. Samsung said the Karnataka programme supports the state’s ambition to develop an AI-ready technology workforce. The development is significant for students seeking practical exposure beyond conventional classroom learning. It also reflects the growing role of industry-academia partnerships in preparing young people for technology-driven careers and emerging jobs.
