AIIMS Jodhpur AI and digital health initiatives are expanding as the institute strengthens technology-enabled healthcare, research and medical education. The institute marked its 15th Foundation Day on September 17, highlighting developments in healthcare services, medical education, research and innovation. AIIMS Jodhpur has introduced digital systems including e-Office, e-Sushrut HIS, ABHA-linked services, patient kiosks and an Anaesthesia Information Management System. Its technology focus also includes artificial intelligence, robotics, precision medicine, genomics and digital healthcare. The institute is collaborating with IIT Jodhpur through academic programmes covering AI, digital health, medical technology and entrepreneurship. AIIMS Jodhpur has also established an innovation and entrepreneurship foundation focused on healthcare, AI and translational research. During 2025-26, the institute received more than ₹115 crore in extramural research grants and filed 31 patents, with five approved. The developments highlight the growing role of technology, interdisciplinary research and digital skills in medical education and healthcare delivery.
