AI Innovation in Indian Education is taking centre stage at the Bharat Innovates Exposition, where 37 deep-tech innovations are being showcased during the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi. The two-day exposition at Bharat Mandapam features technologies including AI-enabled cervical cancer screening, AI-based maternal-fetal monitoring, marine robotics, floating solar systems and rare-earth-free electric powertrains. Organised by the Ministry of Education in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs, the event connects India’s higher-education innovation ecosystem with international universities, investors, companies and research organisations. The showcase is linked to the BRICS Education Track priority of strengthening research, innovation and startup ecosystems. For students, the event highlights how higher education institutions are increasingly becoming centres for technology development and entrepreneurship. It also demonstrates the growing career relevance of AI, robotics, healthcare technology, energy systems and other deep-tech fields.
