VTU TCS Foundation Skill Training: Jobs Skills for Students

VTU TCS Foundation skill training programme for engineering students

VTU TCS Foundation Skill Training is set to provide engineering students with industry-relevant skills to improve their employment opportunities. Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has partnered with Tata Consultancy Services Foundation (TCSF) to launch the Youth Employment Skill Education programme. The initiative will focus on skills that are increasingly important in the job market, including English and communication abilities. It is primarily aimed at students from engineering colleges in rural areas, where access to industry-oriented training can be limited. Students from VTU’s nine constituent colleges can also enrol in the programme. The training will be monitored by VTU’s Centralised Placement Cell. VTU already offers several skill-enhancement programmes designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. The new partnership is expected to strengthen students’ employability and provide additional support as they prepare for campus recruitment and careers in the technology and engineering sectors.
