IIT JAM 2027 Registration has been postponed to September 12, 2026, giving candidates a revised timeline to apply for the postgraduate entrance examination. The registration was earlier scheduled to begin on September 5. IIT JAM 2027 will be conducted on February 14, 2027, for admission to postgraduate programmes offered by IITs and other participating institutes. The examination will be conducted in computer-based test mode across multiple cities. Candidates can choose from seven test papers covering Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics and Physics. JAM scores are used for admission to MSc, MSc-PhD, Joint MSc-PhD and other postgraduate programmes. Students planning to appear for the examination should check the official notification carefully and complete the application process within the revised deadline. The exam provides students with an opportunity to pursue advanced science and related programmes at leading institutions across India.
