I have worked as a teacher for the past 25 years, coming across thousands of different types of students. Teaching is not just a profession; it is a joy that renews itself every single day. A teacher creates interest, motivates and shapes the minds of children. The real happiness lies in seeing their curiosity sparkle and watching students discover the world.
Teaching is also a process of learning. The more we face inquisitive minds, the more clarity we gain while teaching. When teaching tiny tots, we too become kids and learn along with them. We discover the hidden talents in every child and encourage them to develop their abilities and achieve their best.

Teaching is a patient art of planting seeds and believing that they will grow into successful individuals. When a student, after becoming an adult, meets us after many years and says, “Ma’am, I still remember what you taught me,” we feel satisfied and overjoyed. There is no comparison to the happiness these words bring. It is the noblest profession, where teachers are always remembered, respected and loved in the memories of their students.
Each new academic year brings a fresh batch of students, each with their own personality, curiosity and unique way of seeing the world. Students may always remember the encouragement, patience and belief that their teachers showed them during difficult times.
Teaching is a profession built on responsibility, love and lasting satisfaction. One more thing I would like to add is that I still feel proud to teach my grandchildren. I also get a great opportunity to teach students appearing for non-formal schooling. This journey of teaching will never end.
