AI Tools for Teachers in Karnataka: How AI Is Changing Classrooms

Teachers in Karnataka using AI tools for worksheets, videos and classroom learning

AI Tools for Teachers in Karnataka are changing how educators prepare lessons, worksheets and learning videos for students. Teachers in Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka are using artificial intelligence to create differentiated worksheets, generate questions at different difficulty levels and develop visual learning materials. AI is also helping teachers to improve their own skills, including prompt writing and designing assessments with appropriate safeguards. At the Canadian International School, teachers are exploring AI-integrated classrooms while keeping human review and student originality central. In Karwar, two government school teachers have created an AI-enabled educational website with about 120 videos covering subjects for Classes 6, 7 and 8. The examples show how AI can reduce routine work and support personalised learning. However, teachers stress that students should not depend completely on AI and must continue developing creativity, critical thinking and independent learning skills.
