Priyansh Agarwal TennEdge AI: Class 12 Student Builds Tennis Tech

Priyansh Agarwal TennEdge AI technology for analysing tennis performance

Priyansh Agarwal TennEdge AI is an innovation created by a Class 12 student and national-level tennis player from Gurugram. Wanting to understand what happens during every tennis shot, Priyansh developed TennEdge, an AI-powered motion-sensing technology that provides data-based insights into performance. The technology tracks parameters such as swing speed, shot accuracy, power and spin. The data can be transmitted through Bluetooth to a companion application. Instead of placing a sensor directly on the racket, which could affect its weight and balance, the technology uses a wearable wristband. The project also led to Skill Bridge, an initiative aimed at giving students practical exposure to electronics, embedded systems and other industry-oriented technologies. Priyansh’s journey shows how combining sports with technology can help students turn real-world problems into innovative solutions.
