PM Modi SRCC Visit on September 5 will bring Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Delhi University’s Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) as the institution marks its 100th anniversary. Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi is also expected to attend the campus event. The visit coincides with National Teachers’ Day and is expected to include interaction with students, including members of Gen Z. The Prime Minister last visited SRCC in 2013, when he was Gujarat Chief Minister. Earlier this year, he met SRCC’s Governing Body and a college delegation at his residence to mark the institution’s centenary and released a commemorative postage stamp. The September 5 event will bring together current students, alumni, former principals and faculty members, giving the centenary celebrations a wider institutional significance.
