University of London Northeastern University Hyderabad campuses are set to strengthen the city’s position as a global education hub. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced that the University of London and Northeastern University, Boston, plan to establish offshore campuses in Hyderabad. The initiative is part of Telangana’s plans to attract leading international institutions and provide students with access to global academic opportunities locally. Proposed collaborations could include degree programmes, certification courses, joint research, centres of excellence and programmes for working professionals. LSE and SOAS are also expected to explore offshore schools, industry partnerships and faculty opportunities in Hyderabad. Harvard University has expressed interest in short-term executive education programmes.
