IIM Ahmedabad Placements 2026 have created a new international placement record, with the highest Maximum Earning Potential (MEP) reaching nearly ₹2.31 crore for students of the institute’s flagship Post Graduate Programme. The figure is equivalent to USD 243,000 and is the highest international MEP recorded by the institute since the IPRS system began in 2011. The highest-paying overseas opportunity was a business development role in the IT sector in Dubai. Of the 392 students who participated in placements, six accepted international roles, with opportunities in Dubai, Hong Kong and Japan. Domestic placements also remained strong. The highest domestic MEP stood at ₹81.6 lakh, while the median MEP increased to ₹36.98 lakh, the institute’s highest median figure in five years. A total of 182 companies participated in the placement process, offering jobs across around 267 roles. Business development opportunities also increased sharply, reaching 27 offers in 2026.
