IOB LBO Recruitment 2026 has announced 250 Local Bank Officer vacancies for eligible graduates. The recruitment drive by Indian Overseas Bank covers Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat, with 100 posts in Tamil Nadu and 50 posts each in the other three states. Candidates must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university and be aged between 20 and 30 years as on August 1, 2026. The online application process opened on August 8, while the last date to apply was August 24, 2026 and the exam date is yet to be announced. Selected candidates will be appointed in the JMGS-I scale, with a pay scale of ₹48,480 to ₹85,920. The selection process includes an online examination, Local Language Proficiency Test where applicable, personal interview, document verification and medical examination. Candidates are also required to serve the bank for a minimum of three years under the prescribed bond conditions.
