India Post GDS Recruitment 2026 has announced more than 25,000 vacancies for Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak posts. The Department of Posts released the GDS Online Engagement Schedule-II, July 2026 notification on August 20, 2026. Eligible candidates can complete one-time registration from August 31 to September 19, while online applications and fee payment will be accepted from September 2 to September 21. Candidates must have passed Class 10 and meet the prescribed age and local-language requirements. Selection will be based on a system-generated merit list using Class 10 marks, followed by document verification, with no written examination. BPM posts carry TRCA-based emoluments of ₹12,000 to ₹29,380, while ABPM and Dak Sevak posts offer ₹10,000 to ₹24,470. Candidates should check circle-wise vacancies and eligibility before applying.
