IIT Bombay e-PG Diploma in Computer Science and AI has been introduced through the institute’s Educational Outreach initiative for graduates and professionals seeking advanced technology skills. The one-year programme combines live online classes, self-paced learning and an in-person campus immersion at IIT Bombay. Students must complete six courses, including at least two courses each from the Computer Science and AI and Machine Learning groups. The AI curriculum covers Generative AI, large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, reinforcement learning, computer vision, natural language processing and deep learning. Computer science topics include algorithms, blockchain, software and network security, cryptography and big data systems. The programme is aimed at software developers, engineers, IT professionals, data scientists and fresh graduates with basic computer science knowledge. The programme can be completed within one year, although learners have up to three years to finish it. Successful students will also receive IIT Bombay e-alumni status.
