IIT Dharwad AI Course 2026: Free Training, Stipend & Eligibility

IIT Dharwad AI Course offers eligible candidates a free one-year residential Artificial Intelligence programme under the PM VIKAS Scheme 2026-27, along with a monthly stipend. The IIT Dharwad AI Course is inviting applications for a one-year residential Artificial Intelligence Technocrat programme under the Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan (PM VIKAS) Scheme 2026-27. The programme is being offered as part of the Skill Development Project. Applications can be submitted online until August 31, 2026. Selected candidates will receive free AI training at IIT Dharwad, along with boarding and lodging facilities. Participants will also receive a ₹1,000 monthly stipend through Direct Benefit Transfer. The programme provides a government-recognised Sector Skill Council certificate and two months of post-placement support, including financial assistance of ₹4,000 for successfully placed candidates. The programme is open to eligible graduates, ITI candidates and final-year undergraduate students. Candidates from notified minority communities aged 18 to 45 can apply, subject to the specified eligibility requirements.
