CBSE NISHTHA courses for 2026-27 and more than 845 curriculum-aligned Virtual Labs on DIKSHA have been announced to support teacher development and digital learning. CBSE NISHTHA courses for the 2026-27 academic session are being offered to teachers and school heads through CIET-NCERT. The programmes are designed to strengthen professional skills and include NISHTHA Category II proficiency courses and Category III advanced courses. Category II includes courses on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) and Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) for teachers and school heads working with students up to Grade 5. Enrollment for the current cycle closes on August 31, 2026, while the courses conclude on September 15. Meanwhile, CBSE has informed schools about more than 845 curriculum-aligned Virtual Labs and digital learning resources available through DIKSHA. Focused mainly on Science and Mathematics, these resources are mapped to the NCERT curriculum and can be accessed through the DIKSHA portal, mobile app and QR codes in NCERT textbooks.
