Karnataka VAO Recruitment 2026 has extended the application deadline for 572 Village Administrative Officer posts in the state Revenue Department. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) reopened applications on August 7 following requests from candidates. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications until August 20, 2026, while the deadline for online fee payment is August 21. The vacancies include 505 posts in the Residual Parent Cadre and 67 in the Kalyana Karnataka Cadre. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or II PUC, or hold an equivalent recognised qualification. The age limit is 18 to 40 years, with applicable relaxations for eligible reserved categories. The selection process includes a compulsory Kannada language test wherever applicable, followed by an offline OMR-based written examination and document verification. The General/RPC cadre exam is scheduled for October 4, while the Kalyana Karnataka cadre exam will be held on October 25, 2026.
