Shri Kantha S N from Government PU College, Dasarahalli, Bengaluru, has secured admission to the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kancheepuram, after clearing JEE Mains through self-study. The son of daily-wage garment factory workers from Peenya, Shri Kantha achieved an ST category rank of 1,975 without attending any paid coaching classes. He prepared using NCERT textbooks, online lessons from PhysicsWallah, and guidance from his school teachers, often studying late into the night. His remarkable achievement highlights how determination and disciplined preparation can overcome financial challenges.
