Higher Education Department Oxford Harvard Curricula review has begun after the department appointed experts to analyse academic frameworks followed by Oxford and Harvard Universities. The Karnataka Higher Education Department has constituted an expert committee to study the curriculum and academic practices followed by Oxford University and Harvard University. The committee will evaluate teaching methods, interdisciplinary learning, research integration, assessment systems, and industry collaboration. Based on the findings, recommendations will be prepared to modernise the curriculum followed by higher education institutions in Karnataka. Officials believe that adopting global best practices will improve academic quality, innovation, employability, and international competitiveness of students. The initiative is part of the state’s broader effort to align university education with global standards while ensuring local relevance. The expert panel is expected to submit its report after analysing successful academic models followed by leading international universities.
