IGNOU Startup Competition 2026 has opened applications for students and alumni with innovative startup ideas and existing business ventures. Organised by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), the competition aims to promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup culture within the IGNOU community. Eligible participants can submit their entries until August 31, 2026. The selection process will be conducted in two stages, including the screening of applications followed by a pitching session before an expert jury for shortlisted candidates. Winners will receive recognition for their entrepreneurial ideas and an opportunity to showcase their ventures on a national platform. The initiative encourages young innovators to transform creative ideas into successful businesses while strengthening India’s startup ecosystem.
