The National Testing Agency (NTA) has planned that the NEET UG 2026 re-examination results will be declared by July 20, reassuring medical aspirants that the MBBS academic session will begin on time. The re-exam was conducted on June 21 after the original May 3 examination was cancelled following allegations of a paper leak. NTA officials said the evaluation process is being completed on priority to avoid any disruption to admissions. Once the results are announced, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and state authorities will begin the counselling process for MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical courses. The agency has assured students that the revised schedule will not affect the 2026–27 academic calendar.
