The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has re-opened the option entry window for KCET 2026 counselling, following the announcement of mock seat allotment results. This gives the candidates a chance to revise, modify, add, delete or reorder their college and course preferences before the final seat allotment. Students should carefully go through their mock allotment and make informed decisions on changes, keeping in mind the availability of seats, past cut-offs and their own preferences. Candidates have to save and lock their options within the stipulated deadline after correction of options. KEA has advised the candidates to keep a tab on the official counselling portal for updates on revised schedule and final allotment dates. Early option submission can significantly increase a candidate’s chances of obtaining their preferred college and course.
