UNESCO launches global consultation to mobilize young people and students, 11 to 30 years old, to shape the future of education beyond 2030. The initiative is part of the next phase of the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) to ensure inclusive and quality education for all. Through online surveys and consultation meetings, participants are invited to express their vision of the future, suggest improvements to education systems and outline actions they are willing to take. The consultation will contribute to a global Youth Education Agenda that will inform future education policies. UNESCO believes that engaging young people in decision-making can help to create education systems that are more inclusive, innovative and better equipped to face the challenges of a fast-changing world.
