Russia Opens 10,000 MBBS Seats for Indian Students

The All-India Russian Education Fair 2026 has created a new opportunity for Indian students who want to study medicine overseas. The fair, held across Tamil Nadu cities, including Coimbatore, is offering nearly 10,000 MBBS seats in top Russian government universities. Officials said more than 200 students may also receive full scholarships. Russian universities are gaining attention because they follow National Medical Commission guidelines and offer affordable medical education starting from around ₹3.5 lakh per year. Students who qualify for NEET can apply without IELTS or extra entrance exams. The fair also features courses in biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and data science. Affordable global education opportunities are expanding, giving Indian students more options for pursuing medical and technological careers abroad.
