The Maharashtra government is planning a new integrated portal to help students apply directly to the world’s top 500 international universities. The platform will provide trusted information about courses, fees, eligibility, admission procedures, and required documents. Officials say the move aims to reduce fraud by private agents and make overseas education more transparent for students. The portal is expected to offer free services and help students from Maharashtra connect directly with universities abroad. The government also believes the system will support students better during emergencies and improve access to global education opportunities.
