The Karnataka Education Department has emphasized that students should be trained to acquire practical skills before the completion of the academic year to enhance their employability and confidence. Colleges need to move away from teaching from textbooks and move toward communication, digital knowledge, problem-solving, and industry-specific training. According to education experts, there is an increasing need for multidisciplinary learning as workplaces evolve rapidly as a result of technology and AI. Institutions were encouraged by the government to offer students internships, workshops, and opportunities for practical learning. Students who receive a skill-based education will be better prepared for the workforce and have more career options in both the public and private sectors.
