DSU Partners with NVIDIA to Launch India’s First Campus AI Factory

Dayananda Sagar University in Bengaluru has partnered with NVIDIA to launch India’s first “AI Factory” within its university campus. The project is funded by NVIDIA’s Blackwell supercomputing platform with a budget of over ₹175 crore. The main objective of this partnership is to enable large-scale AI research and model development. Experts are designing this as a production-grade AI hub; the facility will allow students, researchers, and industry partners to build real-world AI systems rather than just study them. It also aims to train thousands of students and strengthen India’s domestic AI capabilities.
